2020 Corvette Stingray Accessory Guide is here!

The moment we have been waiting for. ACCESSORIES!!

Chevrolet has dropped the Official 2020 C8 Corvette Stingray Accessory guide. This guide is LOADED with all sorts of accessories for your incoming Corvette. You can download that catalog using the link below.

A recent article was wrote stating you can’t do RC8 museum delivery and get the high wing option. I have been doing a lot of research on this and where it is true pre se. There is a WAY to get the experience of taking delivery of your new 2020 C8 Corvette and the museum AND getting the high wing spoiler. I explain more in this video. http://chevydude.news/high-wing-and-RC8

2020 Corvette Mid engine Order Submission form for your dealer.

It’s an exciting time in Corvette nation, you can now order your 2020 Mid Engine Corvette!

As a corvette owner, enthusiast, and salesperson. The last thing I want to hear from one of my clients is “there is a mistake on my car”  So I have came up with an order submission form that you can download and print to give to your dealer to ensure you get a perfect custom order.

Make sure you watch my latest video to get complete context on how to use this. As well as what items are NOT available on here that you may have equipped your car from the Chevy online configurator.

http://chevydude.news/Ordering-is-OPEN

Down below you will find three boxes with three links. Each represent one of the three trim levels available for the 2020 Mid Engine Corvette.

Use this link to download if you are ordering a 1LT trim level 2020 Corvette.  http://chevydude.news/1LT

Use this Link if you are ordering a 2LT trim level 2020 Corvette.  http://chevydude.news/2LT

Use this Link if you are ordering a 3LT trim level 2020 Corvette.

The best practice for this submission form is to download it, print it, and use a highlighter over the 3 character code next to the item you want on your 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. See image below on how FE9, GM7, Q8Q, AH2, and J6F are all highlighted.

I hope this helps you get your C8 Corvette ordered correctly, and in a timely fashion.

Don’t forget to share this below so others know the info I am sharing. Have a Great Day, and Drive Safely.

5 TIPS FOR SAFELY DRIVING AT NIGHT

Are you putting yourself at risk by driving at night?

We don’t often hear about the dangers of night driving, but perhaps we should. According to the National Safety Council, the risk of a fatal accident increases by three times at night. In fact, more than 40% of all fatal car accidents occur at night, despite there being less than half the normal amount of traffic on the road. Since night driving is unavoidable for virtually all of us, it’s important to know the do’s and don’ts of keeping safe after dark.

To help you get started, here are 5 essential safety tips to keep safe while driving at night.

1. Avert your eyes from oncoming headlights.

When it’s dark outside, our eyes are naturally attracted to sources of light. Even if an oncoming vehicle doesn’t have their brights on, you might still be tempted to look at their lights instead of the road in front of you. This is a subtle yet potentially dangerous distraction, especially when you already struggle with low visibility.

2. Watch out for animals.

Wild animals appear on the road when we least expect them. Even relatively urban areas can hide creatures who are on the hunt in the dead of night. To avoid these accidents, keep on the lookout to see if your lights are reflecting off of any pairs of eyes in front of you. And if you are faced with an animal in front of you, avoid swerving to dodge it. You’ll actually increase the likelihood of an accident that way, so prioritize coming to a stop over anything else.

3. Make sure your headlights are aligned.

The biggest struggle of night driving is combating poor visibility. Our vehicle’s headlights combat this, but a misaligned headlight makes night driving exponentially more dangerous. If you have any problems at all with your headlights, get them repaired ASAP.

4. Take frequent breaks.

Long distance night driving is inevitable for many of us. In fact, many families prefer it since it lets the kids sleep on the road. To keep any and all precious cargo safe, take a pit stop at least every two hours to get out of the car and stretch. This will keep you alert on the road, and any cups of coffee you grab in the meantime will help too.

5. Don’t drive drowsy.

We all know drunk driving is dangerous, but you don’t need to be drinking to be putting yourself at risk. In fact, studies show sleep deprived drivers are at as much risk as drunk drivers. Drowsy driving is said to be a factor in 1 out of 5 fatal car accidents, and that’s a fact no driver should sleep on. If you’re tired and need to get on the road, get some sleep and make the trip in the morning if possible. You wouldn’t get in the car after a night at the bar, so you shouldn’t get behind the wheel when you’re struggling to stay awake either.

These five tips will help make your night driving safer, but all other risks of driving still apply. Bad weather, dense traffic, you name it. If you’re driving an older vehicle in these conditions, you’re missing out on the life-saving features that are found in modern vehicles. Drive Safely,

Want to start your Chevy? Just ask Alexa.

Ever want to warm up your Chevy on a cold morning without having to leave the house? Or crank up the AC when it’s sweltering out? Ever gotten into bed and suddenly worried that you left your SUV unlocked out in the driveway?

Well, now you can. Click here to learn more. http://chevydude.news/Alexa-start-my-car

Most people don’t know that they can control their Chevrolet thru their Amazon Alexa. In this Vlog, I share with you how to set it up, how to use it, and a couple of errors you might encounter.

Once you’ve activated the myChevrolet skill for Alexa, here are just some of the commands you can utilize:

  • Alexa, ask Chevrolet for help: Prompts Alexa to recite a list of available functions
  • Alexa, ask Chevrolet to start my car: Alexa will ask for your PIN, and then start your vehicle, if properly equipped.
  • Alexa, ask Chevrolet to stop my car: Alexa will stop the car you most recently started.
  • Alexa, ask Chevrolet to lock/unlock my car: Alexa will ask for your PIN, and then lock or unlock your vehicle, if properly equipped.

Multiple vehicles can be managed with the skill but it allows customers to interface with only one vehicle at a time.

Watch this video for step by step setup and proper use. (there is a learning curve) http://chevydude.news/Alexa-start-my-car

2019 Corvette Drivers Series Is A Racing-Themed Special Edition

Today at Daytona, Chevy showed off the Corvette Drivers Series, four new Grand Sport-based special editions that pay tribute to Corvette Racing’s four full-time drivers. Here’s a Video of all the cars. http://chevydude.news/CorvetteDriversSeries

The Oliver Gavin edition is Shadow Gray paint job, Jan Magnussen car evokes the flag of the Danish racer’s home country with Arctic White exterior paint and Crystal Red stripes with gray hash marks,  the Antonio Garcia edition, which is designed to evoke his Corvette C7.R race car with Racing Yellow paint, a black hood stripe with the Corvette Racing Jake logo and red fender hash marks. And finally, there’s my personal favorite—Tommy Milner car sports Elkhart Lake Blue paint, with silver stripes and red fender hash marks for a modern reinterpretation of the classic Grand Sport look.

Chevrolet invited me down to Daytona International Speedway so that I could get some video for the Chevy Dude Channel.

These cars will be available to order in late February. Until then, dive into my video and see them up close and personal.  http://chevydude.news/CorvetteDriversSeries

How Much Money I Made On YouTube In 2018

As of Jan 19, 2019, the average annual pay for a Car Salesman in the United States is $48,151 a year. Dealership salespeople average about 10 car sales per month.  That equals to about $401 per car sold.  Of course, this is averages we are talking about here.  A salesman that only sells 10 cars per month are NOT typically making 48k per year.  Personally, 35k would be good for that salesperson.

In this vlog, I show you the exact amount of money I made from youtube in 2018. Check out the video here.  http://chevydude.news/2018-youtube-revenue

When I was a kid to make side money I would do almost any job the adults wouldn’t do. Mow yards, shovel sidewalks, pull cattails from my neighbor’s pond, etc. That was life in the ’80s (gawd I feel old). In 2019 kids can just create a youtube channel.

A 7-year-old boy named Ryan who reviews toys for other kids made 22 MILLION dollars in 2018. YES, $22,000,000 at 7 years old.

Jake Paul, the younger brother of famous YouTuber Logan Paul made 21.5 Million.

Where I didn’t make millions on youtube last year. I am pretty proud of what I accomplished year over year growth on my channel.  This video isn’t to brag, or prove a point. Simply to show what you can do with the proper tools, desire, will power, and drive to make stuff happen.

Check out this video http://chevydude.news/2018-youtube-revenue  and see how much I did make and the 2 main tools I used to achieve it.  And use it to encourage yourself to make a channel for yourself for the best branding and marketing purposes.

TONIGHT I HIT 100k subscribers!!

Drive Safe,

Mike
